2010 ZOO TRAVEL PROGRAMS

Whether you're a first-time traveler or a seasoned globe-trotter, the Saint Louis Zoo offers travel experiences that will take your breath away. Our expeditions will take you to places where you may experience first-hand much of the wildlife our Zoo is working to preserve and protect. You will learn about conservation efforts in these regions, and you will be escorted by a Zoo curator who will add his or her broad knowledge to your adventure.

Zoo trips are designed for small groups and are priced to be affordable. (Trips may go with fewer passengers than the published minimum, but Zoo staff will not participate).  Tanzania Safari: The Great Migration 
See thousands of free-roaming animals during the great wildebeest and zebra migration. Experience vast elephant herds. Excite in the chase as lions and cheetahs keep nature's balance. Marvel at the diversity of animals you will see - all while adventuring with the Saint Louis Zoo.

 Alaska Backcountry Adventure: Kenai and Denali  
Enjoy the majestic wildlife in Denali National Park, raft through the heart of Kenai National Wildlife Refuge to see moose, eagles and salmon, and boat and kayak amongst whales and otters in Kenai Fjords National Park. Charlie Hoessle, Zoo Director emeritus, will visit with the group during your adventure.
